Charlotte was raised in Murfreesboro, TN, but spent the majority of her adult life in Nashville. She earned a BS degree from Middle Tennessee State University in History and Sociology. Always interested in other cultures, Charlotte has traveled the world extensively, but still has many new places to visit. She enjoys cooking, entertaining, and visiting friends across the U.S. In 1994 Charlotte joined Corrections Corporation of America (now Core Civic) as a teacher, but soon promoted to corporate trainer.  Her job entailed opening 18 new prison facilities for CCA often traveling 300 days a year for seven years. She moved into the position of Assistant Warden. Retiring in 2017, Charlotte moved to Fairfield Glade to be near her family. Currently Charlotte serves FFGUMC as the Coordinator of Assimilation Ministries. She works part time to bring visitors and constituents into the church as members.
